DM Water stands for Deionized Water. It is water that has been purified to remove all ions, including minerals like calcium, magnesium, sodium, chloride, and sulfate, which are typically present in tap water. The process of deionization involves passing the water through ion-exchange resins that replace the mineral ions with hydrogen and hydroxyl ions, which then recombine to form pure water (H2O).

DM water is used in various applications where impurities or minerals could interfere with processes, including:
